One-day Mountain Biking around Luang Prabang
A full day bike tour around the wonderful world heritage town of Luang Prabang. The biking tour includes dirt road riding and the sensational visit to the "Elephant Park Project", plus some sightseeing along the way. See rivers, villages and the daily Lao life along the way. This mountain bike trip combines great cycling with the chance to discover authentic Lao rural life. Leave the beaten path and find your own adventure outside of town. You pass small rivers and also may visit our Elephant Park Project area during this ride on dusty roads and small walking paths. Take your time along the way to stroll around the villages and take a break in a shady place where you have your picnic lunch.
During August to January we have an extended ride and motorboat trip to the Tad Sae waterfall.

Itinerary:
Day One (biking 5-6 hours )
With professional mountain bikes, ascend and descend through the Laos countryside. Stop in sights of interest such as villages, forests, waterfalls and nature spots around Luang Prabang. Lunch at a Khamu Village. Extended visit around the village and cycling on small trails to another Khamu community. Dine with villagers and enjoy cultural activity and their life style in the community. Rest peacefully at a comfortable local style guest house and try some Lao whiskey...
Day Two (biking 4+ hours)
Enjoy breakfast in the early morning and set out for a nice ride along a river bed and on to the Nam Khan River. Visit local villages along the way, cross a river and a short visit to the magnificent Tad Sae Falls for a frolic jump in the refreshing waters. Enjoy your ride home into town either via a good road or on a small dusty back road - your choice.
